Tee Grizzley’s Momentum Continues

The Detroit rapper followed up the release of his latest mixtape with an official video for “The Smartest Intro” featuring Mustard.

On Juneteenth Tee Grizzley dropped The Smartest. The 17-track project features Big Sean, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Lil Need, Queen Naija, and Members of Detroit Youth Choir. On the production side he has some big names which include DJ Mustard, Hit-Boy, Scott Storch, Avedon, Helluva, Cypress, Omega, MaddMaxx, and P-Lo.

“The Smartest Intro” was directed by Ben Mark. The visuals were inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s The Last Supper and Tee Grizzley’s come up. He opens up his verse with, “Used to carry bottles to the store, praying nobody seen me,” and follows with “Now one of my trucks a Bentley, the other a Lamborghini” interchanging scenes between the hood and a more lavish setting with luxury cars and chains.

This has got to be one of my favorite Tee Grizzley projects. The content and production really showed Tee Grizzley’s abilities. What are your thoughts?
