The LA rapper and his team put together an iconic Tiny Desk (home) concert.
Due to covid-19 Roddy Ricch didn’t have the the opportunity to perform for a crowd, nonetheless he put on a performance that celebrated his home city and his culture.
Roddy was accompanied by the LA based band 1500 or Nothin’, and Ty Dolla $ign. The Tiny Desk (home) concerts was filmed at the legendary garage, West Coast Customs where they taped Pimp My Ride.
He performed a total of 4 songs “Perfect Time,” “Bacc Seat” accompanied by Ty Dolla $ign, “High Fashion” and closed out by addressing the state of the world and expressing his solidarity. He finished his set with “War Baby,” a track that pays tribute to his roots.
