Today J. Cole celebrated his 35th birthday. As one of the greatest rappers of all time, today we celebrate his life.
Jermain Lamarr Cole was born on January 28, 1985 on a military base in Germany, but raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Throughout his career he has released three mixtapes, two EP’s, five studio albums, and three Dreamville Records compilation protects. This weekend he won his first Grammy award in the Best Rap Song Category for his collaboration with 21 Savage on “A Lot.”
But most of all Cole had influenced an entire generation and generations to come. From The Come Up mixtape to Revenge of the Dreamers III, he has remained true to himself and instilled truth and empowerment to anyone that listens to him.
