Grammys 2020 Weekend

The Grammys always leads to a busy weekend, one that many look forward to. The days leading to the big night on Sunday, Jan. 26, were eventful to say the least.

The events and celebration for the Grammys began as early as Saturday, Jan. 18.

The weekend began on Thursday with Coca Cola celebrating the launch of their newest beverage, Coca Cola Energy. The event took place at Goya Studios in Hollywood. It was hosted by Kenny Burns alongside Shabbaaaaa Sound System on the turn tables. They featured special performances by SAINt JHN and Saweetie. The event had an open bar with drinks curated to complement Coca Cola. It was definitely a great way to lead into the weekend.

Following that, on Friday, Kitty Cash celebrated her first Voila Worldwide of 2020 for an LA Grammy Edition. The party was hosted by Kitty Cash and featured sets by Tory Lanez, Kitty Cash, Sean G, and Lil C. The flyer had a clear waring of “Intense R&B Dance Party,” and it was that indeed. Tory Lanez as the MC complemented Sean G on the turn tables and and had everyone from Rihanna to Boogie getting down. Kitty Cash definitely did her thing and left her mark on LA.

On Saturday, Shabbaaaaa Sound System celebrated their first party of the year aswell. With Shabbaaaaa you can rest assured that they will deliver nothing but a function. Sean G, Drewbyrd, and Shacia Payne Marley did their thing and had Rihanna come through with the wine and body rolls. You know if Rihanna is dancing and backing it up you’re doing everything right. Congrats to Shabbaaaa for delivering nothing but a great night.

Sunday night Republic Records celebrated with a Post-Grammy Party at the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood. They had everything from an open bar to spicy chicken sliders that can give Popeyes a run for their money. The party featured DJ sets by Neil Jackson, Pedro, and Zac Bia. This was definitely a great way to end the weekend.

Congratulations to everyone on this eventful weekend.
