Young Thug’s next project, Punk is confirmed to be arriving in February 2020. The Atlanta rapper describes the project as “music that the world is going to embrace.”
Just days after releasing So Much Fun, Young Thug announced his next project Punk. In an interview with Rolling Stones Thugger said, “Punk is me letting them in on my real life. Me letting them know all the situations I’ve been through. Opening up, letting the fans in, I feel like I never let em.”
He explained that the album itself can be compared to Tupac due to its honesty and candor. In an interview with FADER he said “[Punk] means brave, not self centered, conscious. Very, very neglected, very misunderstood. Very patient, very authentic” adding, “[Real rap is] letting people in, letting people know what you go through. Let them know that you the same.”
Stay posted for Punk in February 2020!
