TORY LANEZ SENTENCED 10 YEARS FOR SHOOTING MEGAN THEE STALLION

Tory Lanez remains adamant he is innocent of shooting Megan The Stallion in 2020.

Tory Lanez was handed his ten year prison sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion on Tuesday August 8. The canadian artist was accused and now convicted of shooting Megan in the foot after a Los Angeles party on July 12, 2020.

Tory is apologetic of the actions that transpired that night, issuing a statement in court and on Instagram. “If I could change it, I would, but I can’t,” he said. “Everything I did that night, I take full responsibility,” he added. “I truly am just trying to be a better person.”

Megan Thee Stallion says that she has suffered daily since the incident, issuing a statement through the Los Angeles County Deputy Attorney.

“Since I was viciously shot by the defendant, I have not experienced a single day of peace. “Slowly but surely, I’m healing and coming back, but I will never be the same.”

Megan asked that the sentence for Tory be stiff, and prosecutors were asking for a 13-year sentence. Tory was ultimately handed a 10-year sentence in which his lawyers plan to appeal.
