Pop Smoke Dead at 20 Years Young

The Brooklyn rapper was found wounded in his Hollywood Hills rental home and later pronounced dead at the hospital.

On Wednesday early morning LAPD received a call from the East Coast stating that, “several people, at least one of whom wore a black mask and was armed with a handgun, had entered their friend’s home in Los Angeles shortly before 5 a.m.”

Officers found Pop Smoke, who’s real name is Bashar Barakah Jackson, with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Pop Smoke’s career was just starting to take off. A young king in the making. Our hears and prayers go out to his family. RIP Pop Smoke!
