Rapper Offset recently addressed long-standing rumors that his fallout with Quavo stemmed from conflict surrounding Saweetie, calling the narrative more “rumor” than reality.
On the podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, Offset confronted the speculation head-on, stating that although the rumors have circulated for years, there was a “deeper” reason behind his estrangement from Quavo — one he prefers not to fully disclose. He dismissed the affair story as a “bug” he’d heard and suggested people often exaggerate or fabricate drama to “tear down” relationships.
He added, “We men, so we don’t play those games … that was kind of crazy,” using the episode to emphasize that the alleged romantic entanglement had nothing to do with their split.
Yet, not everyone is convinced. On a separate platform, 6ix9ine reignited the Saweetie angle, claiming it was the catalyst behind Migos’ fracture. He went further, suggesting that if Offset did indeed have a relationship with Quavo’s then-girlfriend, it would constitute “rat” behavior in the eyes of the rap community.
