Jeezy, DJ Drama and Gangsta Grillz—a perfect collab.
Jeezy isn’t just celebrating another trip around the sun — he’s marking 20 years in the rap game. And he isn’t doing it quietly. The Atlanta legend is teaming back up with longtime collaborator DJ Drama to deliver a new Gangsta Grillz project called Still Snowin, set to drop on September 28, which just happens to be Jeezy’s birthday.

This feels like more than just a birthday present to fans. The project arrives amid a wave of nostalgia and recognition: Jeezy has memorialized the two decades since Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, the 2005 debut that helped reshape Southern rap and played a big part in bringing trap to the mainstream. He even took TM101 on tour with a full orchestra, reimagining it live.

“Still Snowin” aims to be both a celebration and a declaration—Jeezy says he feels like he has his “second wind” creatively, and this album is one of his favorites ever. He’s leaning into the Snowman persona that defined him early, reinforcing that time hasn’t slowed him down. He’s calling the release date “Snow Day,” making the drop a personal marker as much as a professional one.
Relive their Jeezy and DJ Drama’s 2022 project Snofall while we wait on the pair to drop the next chapter in their historic run.
